Modified for health, Magnificent because Mangos are great!
This one is a Indian classic but without the added sugar.
We’ve also used a Greek Yoghurt to bump up the protein intake & included a dairy-free.
Unlike traditional lassi that may use the pulp (where the extra sugar added sugar comes from) this one uses a combination of frozen mango & mango purée (if you can source fresh, ripe Alfonso mango’s then even better!)
Thick, creamy & with a hint of cardamom it’s a perfect choice on those warmer days here in the UK, especially after lunch or mid-afternoon right when the thermometer starts to peak.
A decent dose of protein accompanied with nutrients like vitamin C, A & copper from the Mango. A great one to keep you satiated & give you with a sweet kick whilst cooling you down on the warmer days
It’s as easy as throw it all in the blender, blend & serve!
Enough of the blabber, here’s what you’ll need to make this one:
Serves 1
100g of Frozen Mango/ 1 Very ripe Alfonso mango
1 Ella’s Kitchen Mango puree sachet
3 tablespoons of Greek Yoghurt/Coconut Yoghurt
1/4 cup of unsweetened coconut milk
A pinch of Himalayan salt
Half a freshly squeezed lime
The seeds from 2 cardamom pods
1/2 cup of ice
Here’s how to do this one:
Add all the contents to a blender and blend until smooth
Serve & enjoy!
